Whether you’re shopping for groceries or filling that hole your heart with a dazzling new ensemble, decrease how much waste you produce with your own grocery, shopping and produce bags and maybe you can even make a style statement while you'e at it. 

 

Ensure you’re buying biodegradable and compostable “plastics” that are ASTM D6400 certified, BPI Certified and meet VINCOTTE requirements (EN 13432) for backyard composting. Look up products here to see if your goods are truly what they claim. 

STORAGE, PRODUCE & TRASH BAGS

Switch out your plastic Ziploc-type bags and replace them with glass containers, Pyrex containers, reusable boxes and/or wax paper. If you still have Ziplocs in your pantry, you can wash and reuse them.
